It's summer, people.

Avery created the Summer Of Love. And she also created the rules for the summer of love. I, like Katie Corrin, have broken every single rule...

One.)Find someone new, someone lovely. Find romance. Fall in love.

How I broke the rule.) Funny little story... This has not yet happened. Katie, stop being a little liar and saying "You're lying" when people say "You have Jake Barton" cause, guess what! You do! I saw it with my OWN EYES. I, on the other hand, have, up to this point, failed to find someone new and lovely. I got close - I'm not going to lie. (It wasn't that Jake boy I was ranting about, no, someone different.) His name was Josh. (Was Josh? It's not like he's dead or anything...) But, it didn't pan out so well. I miss him sometimes. And the relationship we never (but certainly could've) had. And no one new has walked into my life. Dear boys: I'm just sitting here. Waiting. For you. Please. Please come.

Two.) Love your friends. Be together.

How I broke the rule.) It's not that I don't love my friends... It's just that we haven't spent loads of time together. I've seen Katie a total of four times. Hannah a total of once. I have spent quite a bit of time with my dear old friend, Harli, who I grew up with, never fight with, and completely adore. I also adore her boyfriend. We love each other. Hahaha.

Three.) Love your family. Love your mom.

How I broke the rule.) Uh. Well. My mom and I have fought nearly every day. My sister and I fight often. Clearly, this rule has been broken.

Four.) Love the summer. The sunshine, the heat, and the tan lines you get.

How I broke the rule.) I love summer. But the sun kills my skin - even though it feels good in the process of cell killing. I have absolutely no tan lines to love. And the heat is good, but sometimes not good to run in.

Five.) Love time. Spend it well.

How I broke the rule.) I have not spend my time so well. I lay on the floor often. I mope in bed often. I sit around and postpone doing my jobs. Often. I'm so exciting. Yeah.

Six.) Love life. Love everything about it because it's going fast. No regrets.

How I broke the rule.) I do love my life, don't get me wrong, but some days - like, every other day - I say something along the lines of "This is the worst day of my life." I should probably break that habit...

Seven.) Love yourself. You're lovely and and gorgeous and incredible and perfect.

How I broke the rule.) I'm a teenage girl.

Other than that, it's really been a wonderful summer full of laughter and Del Taco and efy and strawberry shakes and Nana and mini-vacations (all leading up to our giant vacation!!) and lots and lots of... Well, love.(:

At the end of the day, it really HAS been the summer of love. I love this summer. I'm going to celebrate that.
